3d penguin final stamp

Here is my penguin final stamp i am rather pleased with it and i think it looks pretty cool
Here are my finished stamp designs for the tiger and shark i'm very pleased with the shark although the tiger isnt so great due not be able to sort the material out for his body

3d Tiger

Here is my final render of the tiger i am a bit disappointed with the texture of it i have played around with it for ages but i'm unable to fix the parts that have been extruded dont seem to texture correctly i have searched online for tutorials and cant seem to fix it.

Once i had finished the back and front legs and had them shaped how i wanted i moved onto the tail this was a rather easy part to make all i had to do was simple create a circle polygon using the cut tool and then extrude it out and shape the tail.

Once i had got the stomach a perfect shape i moved onto the legs i made these by extruding down from the cyclinder and shaping them as i went along.

To create my tiger i started with a cyclinder and then shaped it to the shape of a tigers stomach region. i then extruded different parts of the cyclinder to create the legs and the rest of the body.

3d Shark

Here is my final rendered Shark i think it has been a success!

After my model was made i then needed to add materials to it. this took me quite a while to find the right colours and materials to uses. i also had trouble when uploading images. it would add the images to the shark loads of times instead of just once. i fixed this by using UVW Map and then removing real world Map size.

Once i had the body complete i then started creating the teeth. i did this by using the edge cut to tool and created teeth shape polygons within the mouth. i then extruded them out and used the outline tool to bring them in and look sharp!

Once i had the shape sorted i used the cut to to remove polygons and shape the mouth. i did this by moving the to jaws up and down then to create a realistic look once i used the create polygon tool to fill in the holes within the mouth. once i had created the mouth i made sure that the symetry was in the correct place and all the fins looked ok and made it into a editable poly.

To create my shark i started with a box i then deleted half and added symetry i then added the nessecary polygons i would need to shape my box into a shark to get the perfect shape was one of the most time consuming parts of creating my shark. here is a picture of what it looked like after i had played around with it.

Swot Anaylsis

Swot Anaylsis

Strengths
Because i find the module interesting it is easy to sit down and do the work as it can be quite good fun and doesnt get boring. also if i get stuck i can find tutorials that will help and teach me new techniques.

Weaknesses
As i have never used this program before this module everything is new and it can be very time consuming just learning the program. i also get distract very easily with everything which reduce work time.

Opportunities
I think that using the blog to present your work is very good as it shows how much i have done and also gives me more motavation to catch up if i see other peoples blogs are being updated. it could also be a good way of showing my work to employee's when i am looking for a job.

Threats
My main threat was as i have never used this program or anything like it that i would struggle to learn the program in time to finish my models to a high enough standard before deadline day.
